Double A Baseball is the second highest classification of Minor League Baseball and is comprised of three leagues, the Eastern League, Southern League and Texas League. The three leagues are made up of 30 teams stretching from Maine all the way to Texas with franchises in markets that have a cumulative MSA of nearly 36.5 million people.
Like other members of Minor League Baseball, Double A Baseball offers fans affordable family entertainment and exciting and innovative promotions, with at least 140 games on the schedule for each club between April and September. Collectively, the 30 Double A clubs welcome more than 9 million fans to their ballparks during the season.
Because players at the Double A level are only two steps away from becoming a Major Leaguer, Double A Baseball has also become the level where most blue chip prospects complete their development. This can be seen as more and more players are jumping directly from Double A to the Major Leagues while spending little or no time at Triple A. Players that recently went from Double A directly to the Major Leagues include Miguel Cabrera, Alex Gordon and Justin Verlander.
Double A Baseball can offer corporate partners access to their fans through a number of different types of inventory, including but not limited to signage at each stadium, internet advertising, print advertising, radio advertising, PA and videoboard advertisements and hospitality at Double A Baseball ballparks and special events. Partnership packages can be tailor made to meet the needs and goals of any organization and are limited only to the imagination of the people creating the partnership package.
Additional information can be found on the pages of this site about Double A Baseball, the markets we play in, the players that have passed through the Double A leagues and the inventory available for partnership packages.
